RESPONSABILITATI

Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the project, including scheduling of needed material, tools, equipment, safety accessories and subcontractors relative to the specific construction phase, while continually updating the Finishing Engineer of progress, issues and problems.
The Finishing Superintendent is responsible for implementation of contract documents and achievement of quality, schedule, safety and budget requirements. Ensures costs, crew and use of equipment is satisfies project and company standards.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversee each stage of the Finishing Works, communicate daily and weekly report with the Finishing Engineer in order to keep the manager apprised of progress of project and associated issues or problems that may affect progress. The method and frequency of communication will be coordinated with the Finishing Engineer.
2. Review contract documents and assists the Finishing Manager in following the construction schedule. Prepare/Update three-week look ahead schedule, weekly for Finishing Manager,
subcontractors and suppliers in compliance with the overall schedule.
3. Follows company???s purchasing procedures while ordering or receiving any needed material and equipment within delegated authority.
4 Supervise all required Inspections and approvals as stated in the inspection and test plan and coordinate with QA Department and QA Consultant.
5. Obtain project temporary trailer, utilities, access roads, storage facilities, fencing and other needed jobsite facilities.
6. Identify key areas and stake property accordingly. Conduct or schedule field engineering.
7. Install bulletin boards and post warning signs for site hazards such as gas lines, traffic access. Post emergency numbers, implement safety procedures to achieve Health and Safety guidelines are followed, enforce company???s safety policy, identify security issues and address (such as fences, barricades, lighting, alarms, public access, watchman) and obtain appropriate signatures from subcontractors and suppliers.
8. Coordinate and administer weekly safety meeting with Health and Safety Coordinator, subcontractors, suppliers and field personnel.
9. Identify items to be submitted as Request for Information to the Architect/Engineer or Owner prior to problem development at the project.
10. Contact subcontractors, suppliers and field personnel to coordinate mobilization and continued support during respective phase of the project.
11. Inspect the project daily for quality, production and safety. Identify items for improvement, implement changes by coordinating with appropriate individuals with respective subcontractor or supplier.
12. Review and ensure deliveries/invoices are timely and accurate. Provide direction to Project Engineer on critical path items in order to determine priorities to maintain schedule.
13. Coordinate and administer weekly project meetings with Finishing Engineer.
14. Communicate ???as-built??? changes in contract documents and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers and field personnel for implementation.
15. Identification of possible claim possibilities 16. Maintain and Update production and safety logs. Monitor and schedule maintenance of equipment and tools.
17. Carry out any other assigned tasks given by the Finishing Engineer.

Job Qualifications for the Finishing Superintendent Position:
1. Previous experience as a Superintendent required. (5-or more preferred) Previous Finishing experience preferred.
2. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills in English with all levels of employees, management and
outside parties such as Consultant, Architects, Engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and coworkers.
3. Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise employees.
4. Proven successful project history (Quality, Schedule, Safety, Actual Cost vs. Estimated Cost)
5. Flexible, well organized, detail oriented and multi-tasked.
6. Working knowledge of computers, a plus.
7. Willing to relocate to project site.
8. Available to work flexible hours, average of 50+ hours per week, standard or as needed.
