Based in Warsaw/Poland our Head Office, and reporting directly to the Category Manager, the Quality Assurance Manager will be an integral part of the Technical team.
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for implementing and continually monitoring quality assurance procedures, providing a quality control service ensuring that all products delivered for the brand are to the agreed premium quality standards and all statutory regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
• Standards of clothing and samples sizes;
• Cooperation with suppliers, business trips to Far East countries (4-5 times a year) to agree and control quality standards;
• Contribute to Quality Assurance standards and technical product specifications for product development, suggesting actions to improve product standards and quality reporting achieved on all product types and technical tolerance levels;
• Action the Quality Assured delivery inspection process, working closely with the Quality Assurance Team to maintain and regularly review the reporting standards achieved;
• Contribute to continually improve pre-retail standards of product presentation and efficiencies for transportation of our merchandise from suppliers around the world to retail stores;
• Review quality performance indicators supporting the Quality Assurance Team. Prepare quality performance reports and assist in their publication;
• Inspect delivered merchandise both pre-retail and post sale to identify generic and specific quality issues, propose solutions to influence key decisions taken by the QA team and Fabric Technology departments during the season;
• Regularly assess competitors and new developments with industry specialist’s working with the garment technology team to ensure recommendations are followed through;
• Contribute to the role of Quality Assurance Team, through continuous development by providing technical knowledge, enthusiasm, support and regular feedback;

Competences:
• Professional education (clothing technology);
• Experience on similar position as manager in clothing company or very experienced technologist with potential to become a manager;
• Communicative English;
