Role and responsibilities:
• Design, development and implementation of software for the optical transmission backbone
• Optimization of the implemented features
Required skills:
• At least Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience on similar position
• Advanced Linux/Unix knowledge
• Knowledge of network protocols (i.e. NTP, DNS, DHCP)
• Experience in network designing (Ethernet and switches)
• Knowledge of kernel construction’s aspects and glibc library
• Knowledge of memory and I/O management aspects
• Experience in controller programming (kernel’s modules)
• Creativity and analytical skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Fluent English
