Role and responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for planning, developing and testing LTE Receiver features. Planning phase includes function and interface specifications, effort estimation and test planning based on analyzed Base Station features. Implementation phase includes properly reviewed software design and source code including code optimization and documentation. An additional stage of algorithm simulation is required as well. Finally software integration and system component testing are measuring the quality before passing deliverables to the next project team.
Required skills:
• Education M. Sc. in Computing Science, Telecommunication or similar
• Digital Signal Processor (DSP) programming skills (C, C++, Assembler)
• Embedded software and hardware drivers experience in Real-time operating system environment
• Familiarity with agile methods and way of working, but still strong process orientation
• Motivation, energy, flexibility
• Ability to learn fast, willingness to understand complex systems and work in analytical manner
• Fluent spoken and written English
Additional technical skills:
• Embedded software background
• DSP processor environment (e.g. TI) and DSP HW related software knowledge
• Signal processing knowledge (especially for wireless communication)
• Multi-core environment
• Good mathematical skills
• Technical writing skills
• Tool knowledge, e.g. Matlab, DSP processor development & debugging tools
