- responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all existing manufacturing facility equipment and tools
- responsible for technical team coordination
- responsible for identifying the need to repair, replace or modify existing equipment to maintain the efficient output for all the processes in Molding, Assembly and Extrusion
- maintain the relationships with the suppliers for tooling repair and outside processes
- responsible for the monthly and annual budget in order to maintain all assets in good repair
- Mechanical University degree
- 10 years experince supporting highly autmated production processes and equipment. It is highly desirable that this includes experience in the commissioning or installation of capital extrusion process equipment
- familiar with PLC control - Siemens Step 7 advantage
- previous plastics experience highly desired - extrusion or moulding
- other appropriate experince could be in the following industries: petrochemical, packaging, bottling
- strong electronic, electric and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- 5 years experience in a supervisory position
- experience in a 7 day a week 24 hour a day operation
- min. 6 years related experience, in analytical spreadsheets, proposals and manufacturing experience in a repetitive environment. Experince in factory support. Strong project management and supervisory skills
- able to develop and approve processes in Molded and Extruded parts
- Master Molders Certifiate is a plus
- PC knowledge
- English language advanced level (must)
- Italian language - medium (advantage)
- driving licence - B category
