-Responsible for the establishment and follow up of manufacturing schedules, ensuring the supply of all materials required through the HeadQuarter purchasing function or the local purchasing function (himself).
-Follows up actual against scheduled production, purchasing and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions;
-Defines procedures and implement a new system of inventory;
-Manage the warehouse and distribution to determine the right time structure;
-Prepares production analysis charts, job and equipment load forecasts as well as labour forecasts;
-Prepares reports on volumes of production, consumption of materials, etc;
-Ensures a steady flow of supplies on a day-to-day basis;
-Is responsible for determining appropriate storage of materials/products and ensuring that appropriate supplies and stock levels are maintained to meet usage targets both within cost restraints and consistent with suppliers¿¿¿lead times;
-Is responsible for planning and administering the local purchasing activities, selecting new sources of supply and managing local purchasing orders;
-Lead the relationship with local selected suppliers;
-Constantly interacts with the Supply Chain and Purchasing Departments in the Headquarter.
- Engineer with 3-6 years of experience in production planning or supply chain;
- English is a must, Italian language would be a plus;
