Our client, a leading supplier to oil and gas exploration and production companies around the world with approx two-thirds of its oilfield revenues concentrated in markets outside the US is offering you the position of QHSE Manager.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Provide guidance to Management and Operations on all matters relating to QHSE;
- Assist in the development, implementation and continual improvement of the Company's QHSE Management System;
- Direct, support and mentor Facility based QHSE Co-Ordinators;
- Monitor and report QHSE performance to Management;
- Deliver and / or co-ordinate QHSE training;
- Support all locations with regards to internal and external audits;
- Communicate and promote QHSE throughout all facilities and their managed operations.
The ideal candidates for this position will possess a technical Degree or Diploma; be qualified to advise on local Health, Safety and Environmental regulations; have experience in QA/QC; and have knowledge of international management system standards. In addition key requirements for this role are:
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Excellent written and spoken English and Romanian;
- Good technical authoring skills;
- Ability to prioritise and deliver projects on time;
- Proficient in the use of all MS office PC applications;
- Excellent problem solving skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work on own initiative
- Flexibility to travel to all Company facilities within Romania.
