PRODUCTION MANAGER - Ploiesti

Responsibilities:

• Coordination of Production Department’s activities (people, processes, improvement projects), in a functional and lean manner, in order to meet company indicators: Productivity Indicators, Quality Indicators, People management, Budget efficiency, Audits and Certifications;
• Ensure that production personnel is trained in acordance with product specifications,quality system requirements and health-safety requirements;
• Build and manage a good cooperation and a solid relationship with all departments involved in production support process, based on good practice sharing (e.g. Warehouse, Engineering, etc.);
• Plans, organizes and directs the production and maintenance operations to ensure the most effective return on assets;
• Monitors the production processes and adjusts schedules as needed;
• Ensure products are manufactured on time and at a high quality standard;
• Second line support and troubleshooting of production breakdown issues;
• Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes;
• Establish continuous improvement programs through analysis of KPI (key performance indicators) data;
• Develop projects focused on continuous improvement initiatives including cost savings, scrap reduction and efficiency increases of Plasterboard production line;
• Monitor the projects milestones and ensures that performance criteria are met;
• Monitor the line efficiency and keep under control the production and maintenance costs;
• Conduct regular performance appraisals and recognizes and address poor individual or team performance;
• Daily problem solving and manage >40 people;


CERINTE

• Technical University Degree and proven background in (automotive) manufacturing environment;
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills with employees at all levels in the company;
• Awareness of quality requirements and production targets;
• Awareness of a Customer oriented business and ability to cascade it into lean production management;
• Strong communication skills and solution oriented approach;
• Maturity and diplomacy in managing both people and processes;
• English -Advanced Level.
