On behalf of our client, a leader in the Oil Industry and one of the most dynamic and expanding companies in the country, we are urgently searching for like-minded professionals to join, perform and develop careers within this impressive organization.

Key responsibilities for the PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST:
- Ensures carrying out of all operational duties of the procurement process related to the assigned categories and supports the Procurement Officers in finding and implementing the best suitable procurement strategy;
- Examines estimates of material, equipment, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure completeness and accuracy;
- Reviews specifications, prepares bids and tenders, sends progress reports, and other exhibits that may be required, to higher hierarchical levels;
- Open up/ tap new sourcing regions, trends and technologies;
- Records and supports the negotiations process for contracts/orders. Carries out negotiation activity only under supervision of it s own category procurement officer or higher level procurement coordinators according to contract/order value;
- Carries out the operational process before and after the negotiation and selection of the supplier;
- Verifies all matters related to approval of payments and makes available all needed information in order to support payment approval procedure;
- Establishes and maintains contact with suppliers to ensure the smooth working of the business relationship;
- Keep continuously updated on the supplier market situation.

Education:
- Equivalent from two-year college, technical school, or university; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language skills:
- Good command of English.
Computer skills:
- Ms Office: Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint;
- Advanced Internet skills (ability to search relevant information).
