RESPONSABILITATI

The purpose of the Plant Manager s role is to have overall responsibility for the plant s operations including certain types of planned and emergent maintenance. Operational responsibility includes maximizing the plants commercial performance by maximizing the sales of all energy and related products at positive margins and optimizing the variable and fixed operating costs. In addition the manager will be the companies interface with all local stake holders and ensure the plant complies with all of its legal and regulatory operating conditions.

Ensuring safe, reliable and commercially sound operation of the plant across all shifts;
Overseeing all aspects of operations at the plant site;
Understanding all of the commercial agreements, external power sales, external CO2 sales and maximize the commercial opportunities available to the business;
Minimizing the operating cost both variable and fixed while still operating the plant to the highest standards and within the companies operation and maintenance procedures;
Ensuring the plant is operated and maintained in order to comply with all of the legal and regulatory conditions as stated in the operating licence and other related documents ad permits;
Performing planned and emergent maintenance;
Initiating operational improvements and innovations which will contribute to the enhancement of plant safety and reliability, work productivity, cost reduction, quality of service to the client;
Provide direction and oversight to plant operators including setting goals and objectives and conducting performance appraisals;
Training and development of plant operators;
Resolving employee issues on site, engaging Human Resources as needed.


CERINTE

For our client, a multinational company that develops, acquires and operates electric power and district heating businesses around the globe, we are looking for a Plant Manager.

Requirements:

Mechanical or electrical degree or technical training / apprenticeship;
Ten years of experience in operation of electrical and mechanical equipment;
RSVTI Qualification would be an advantage;
Fluency in English;
Discipline;
Attention to details;
Good communication skills.
