-Verify scope of work and give support during the initiation of the project
- Provide technical assistance to contractors in carrying out studies and design activities
- Manage technical clarifications and amendments
- Participate in quality assurance activities and technical reviews for projects
- Ensure that activities are conducted in a safe and cost effective manner in accordance with Company and relevant third party standards
- Ensure integrity management issues are addressed within areas of responsibility.
- Provide Mechanical Engineering support to Modifications, Maintenance, Production and Marine as required
- Plan and coordinate mechanical work orders including vendor and subcontractor services
- Give replies to queries relating interpretation of standards & guidelines and that replies have been subject to appropriate quality assurance.
- To maximise opportunities within design, to improve rig operability and maintainability.
