-Responsible to manage the New Product Introduction / Launch including Pre-production planning (Timing, Cost, Capability);
- Accountable to define process parameters for all Manufacturinhg processes;
- Driving and Support of Product Excellence Process;
- Responsible for SOS / Working instructions;
- Define operator training to secure the structured change from NPI to seriel production;
- Lead continuous improvement of manufacturing processes/equipment;
- Manage CAD support;
- Strong background in implementing new programs;
- High knowledge and skills in Manufacturing Processes in the automotive industry;
- Success in leading multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and working effectively in a highly technical, team environment;
- Provide appropriate leadership and communication skills;
- High practical knowledge in using Six Sigma and Lean tools, specifically DFSS; Automotive background;
- Good English language skills, French / Spanish / German would be considered a plus;
- Strong Operations Background : Strong background in manufacturing engineering and operations and production processes;
Experience & Education required
- At least 5 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering and New Product Introduction;
- At least 2 years experience in leadership and managing of complex projects;
- During starting and critical phases travel is required.
