In order to support current and future field operations, Amromco is looking for a qualified candidate who has supported well meters and understands SCADA systems.
This individual will also be expected to support all IT needs in the field and report to the IT Coordinator in Ploiesti.
The individual in this role will be accountable for the following activities:
• Providing continuous and proactive support for the SCADA System, including meters and field equipment
• Document issues and manage resolution of issues in a timely manner
• Working effectively with the suppliers to ensure that all equipment works as expected
• Training field personnel on equipment usage
• Support field and office computer hardware, communication and peripheral devices
• Participate in coordinated effort to upgrade equipment and software as needed
• Travel on sites and develop small applications for field data collection
• Act as a backup for the system engineer
Experience:
• Information Systems Management, Automation, Computer Science, Electronics degree
• 3-5 years of experience supporting field equipment and systems
• 3-5 years of experience supporting computer hardware and desktop applications
• Experience troubleshooting system issues and coordinate delivery of timely resolution
• Basic database, C++ and Pascal programming experience
• Experience coordinating with software vendor support teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Romanian
Technical Expertise:
• Measurement, automation systems and electronics
• Microsoft XP and 7 Operating Systems
• Experience with NuFlo Meters desired but not required
• RS485 and Modbus basic knowledge, SQL Server
• Outlook, Word and Excel
