Requires a Bachelor s degree in Finance or Accounting, with five to eight years experience in Finance or Accounting. Must have experience in financial preparation and analysis.
Must be Chartered Accountant, Expert Accountant preferred.
Must be very computer literate and able to operate in word and excel extensively.
Must be a team player.
Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex accounting issues.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
Records maintenance skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
Ability to make evaluative judgments.
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Organizing and coordinating skills.
Knowledge of laws and regulations, and public sector of policies and procedures.
Experience in manufacturing (industry) environment.
- Assist in presenting completed and accurate financial statements to upper management.
- Assist in presenting completed and accurate financial statements to each location. Be able to review these statements with each shop and analyze the problem areas and suggest improvements.
- Assist in presenting completed and accurate consolidated financial statements for Company.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets/forecasts for each location and Company.
-Enter all required date into Company's system as required.
- Maintain a fixed asset program to monitor assets and calculate depreciation and amortization for financial and tax purposes.
- Monitor cash flow on a consistent basis reporting directly to the controller.
- Participation in manager meeting when required to present financial information.
