- Input in the system and maintain the needed parameters for MRP run ;
- Continuously improve the materials ordering process in order to shorten the lead-time;
- Issue and follow-up the orders to suppliers;
- Issue purchase orders, manage out of stock issues, monitor for on-time delivery and follow-up and resolve any delivery or performance issues;
- Support all system testing/validation to ensure business requirements are met;
- Creation and/or modification of existing Standard Operating Procedures & Work Instructions;
- Perform receiving of components and raw materials in the system;
- Organize the inventory activities for warehouse;
- Collaborate with other departments related with different tasks and studies.
- Comply with HSE policy and the HSE Management System requirements within their area of responsibility;
- Know the potential significant HSE aspects, high risk activities and impacts of them on the environment.
- Minimum 2 years as buyer within multinational environment;
- Experience in working with ERP system and MRP processes;
- Participation in a business start-up will represent an advantage;
- Experience in AS400 would represent an advantage;
- Work experience in steel machining industry would represent an advantage;
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing concepts would represent an advantage;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills ;
- Base on individual results can be able to take decision;
- Analytical and synthetically mindset, being a highly organized individual with a methodical approach;
- Promote mutual respect, keep workplace clean / safe and participate to all programs related to the job;
- Meticulously;
- English required.
