Technical Education background:Mechanical Engineering, Machine Constructions etc
Over three years of experience in at least two of the following areas: Application Engineer, Process/Product Design, Production.
Very good technical, mechanical, physics, mathematical knowledge.
Good knowledge of Cad is desirable.
Knowledge of design and process selection, manufacturing, costing is an advantage.
Strong English knowledge (another language is an advantage).
Innovative/risk oriented.
Problem solving and analytical skills.
Results driven and customer oriented.
For our client, a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered bearings, alloy steels, and related components and assemblies, we are looking for an Application Engineer.
Responsibilities:
Review application detail and perform system analysis.
Independently evaluate, select and apply current application engineering practices using judgements in making adaptations and modifications.
Perform routine investigations (in cooperation with Service Engineering and others), collect data from sales, prepare and deliver report.
Serve as technical support for sales and services engineering through customer visits and technical training. Participate in customer calls and make technical presentations to customers. Influence customer decisions pertaining to new solutions, products and prototype applications.
Submit ideea for improvements to standard product lines, tests new analysis software. Conduct industry or technology research.
