- manage all project planning together with all parties ( employer – supplier – customer ) to meet customer timings and cost concerns & targets;
- design the manufacturing systems according to customer demands and flexibility expectations and revise when necessary;
- design the process to eliminate the potential failure modes;
- ensure proper tool design strategy while designing and while selecting the suppliers with the technical background;
- work with purchasing and quality to ensure correct parties to be involved in terms of price and quality and design capabilities;
- new product development working closely with Customer project leaders on projects as product modification or predesigned part by customer;
- responsible for new design proposal answering customer request for quotation (RFQ);
- within this area s/he is developing in coordination with the departments design, safety, purchasing, finance and production and take over the coordination of internal processes;
- understanding of production design;
- be leader of FMEA studies by getting the design FMEA inputs;
- be the leader of Run at Rates and participate actively to customer audits and all other audits in the organization.
- 5 years experience in automotive;
- experience in body structure development;
- specific system knowledge required;
- Catia V5 experience;
- excellent command of English;
- good command of French (advantage);
- very good Project management skills.
