The position incumbent ensures, that:
• Integration of Eberspaecher Traceability system (MWA) / Access control implementation
• Data communication with customer
• MWA CI initiatives
• MWA Contingency planning and documentation.
• MWA equipment selection and purchase (computers, printers, scanners, cabling, monitors, misc.)
• MWA policy, processes and procedures (both for plant and office users)
• Local and corporate Traceability and Sequencing support for projects
• Local and corporate Traceability and Sequencing support (on call)
• Local MWA infrastructure support (Inventory and setup)
• Network (Low voltage wiring + networking equipment)
• Operations Support (Troubleshooting systems problems)
• Programming database scripts to read data out of databases
• Systems Design and Implementation
• User administration
• User Support
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in or closely related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT environment.
• Minimum 1 years’ experience working for a manufacturing supplier preferably automotive.
• CCNA or equivalent knowledge of IP networks and switched networks.
• Managing Cisco based networks.
• MCDST or familiarity with the curriculum of what was the MCSE cert.
• User management in Microsoft Windows environments using ADS.
• Managing contractors and vendors for IT related products and services.
• Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Technical Expertise:
• Systematic troubleshooting skills and understanding of problem isolation in systems.
• Understanding of the potential cascading consequences of configuration changes in live production environments.
• At least a rough understanding of departmental functions (operations, materials (including SAP), labeling and barcode specifications, warehouse management, logistics, HR, quality) and the ability to map those functions to the IT infrastructure they need and configurations for how the infrastructure is used.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts and operations, including calculations, percentages, etc.
• Analytical- Synthesize complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data.
• Designs work flows and procedures and work instructions for system use and maintenance.
