- Assists in the preparation of lease “concept” plans as required.
- Assists in the review, comment and approval of tenant drawing submissions in accordance with corporate standards.
- Assists in the preparation of tenant fit-out budgets.
- Assists in the preparation of bid packages and contract documents for tenant fit-out construction.
- Assists in the management of all aspects of landlord/ tenant construction with respect to lease obligations.
- Performs final punchlists and walkthroughs for tenant spaces.
- Reviews, comments on and approves tenant signage submissions relative to compliance with lease obligations.
- Coordinates the preparation of lease exhibits as requested.
- Coordinates the development and/or update of ‘as-built” drawings for occupied and unoccupied spaces.
- Inform and monitor the fit out and other specific requirements of the tenants and assure proper implementation on a most cost efficient and in a good manner
- Initiating contacts with tenants, coordinating initiatives and projects and execute plans with involvement of other internal or/and external people.
- Preparation of accurate tenant budgets.
- Provision of construction management services that ensure project delivery on time and within budget.
Education: College level coursework or equivalent in a related field (Interior Design, Architecture, Engineering), desired.
Experience: Three to Five years’ relevant experience in experience in retail design and construction.
Skills: Must possess strong communication and negotiation skills to interface effectively with tenants, contractors and other vendors, sometimes in tense situations. Computer literacy required to include a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) in a Windows 2000 environment or later. Experience with AutoCAD.
