- Complete RF/Wireless training on RF fundamentals, wireless technologies and standards, test development RF tuning RF equipment and debug;
- Facilitate and perform corporate RF/Wireless projects focucusing on test plan development, test strategy, test equipment and specific product knowledge;
- Deploy RF Wireless skills for new customer introduction. Provide operator training, technician training, test process set up, and debug skills;
- Promote regular communication within the site and region on RF/Wireless topics and actively participate with the Corporate technology team;
- Own the site RF/Wireless roadmap. This role may involve travel to other Celestica sites, customers and vendors.
- Educated to degree level in an appropriate electronics/engineering discipline;
- 5 Years experience within a operational engineering role;
- 2 years experience within an RF/Wireless test development role;
- Knowledge and understanding of the design process for systems and printed circuit boards;
- Knowledge and understanding of systems and printed circuit board manufacturing processes and equipment;
- Knowledge of industry and quality standards;
- Knowledge of testing software, processes and methodologies and failure analysis;
- Knowledge of IT platforms, database design and programming languages appropriate to area;
- Knowledge of some or all of the following: NI Labview, NT, database management system;
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose and troubleshoot problems;
- Knowledge of materials and components used in the construction of systems and printed circuit
boards and subassemblies;
- Knowledge of industry and quality standards for incoming materials.
