Main Purpose of the Position:
Responsible for developing, implementing and optimizing the production processes in the designated production area – SO (trimming, flattening, shot blasting, debarring/brushing) area.
1. Develops the production process for new projects / product changes
Involved in the analyses of the technical documentation and requirements from the customer (RFQ analysis)
Based on the above, prepares for DC area:
the Process Flow (initial and final) - (Related to Trimming, Flattening and all the Secondary Operations)
list of equipments
2. Implements of the production processes within the terms agreed with the customer in the samples production stage
Designs the production equipment
Elaborates the production documentation (FMEA, SOP, WI)
Contributes to FMEA and DFMEA
Gives the technical specifications to the purchasing department to ensure acquisition of required equipment for production
3. Optimizes the production processes in mass production stage to achieve PCA targets
Monitors and analyses the daily process parameters (Yield, scrap)
Improves the cycle time
Improves Yield, maintains a positive relationship between Yield improvement and OEE improvement
Reduces the product changeover time
Reduces material consumption (Brushing paper, brushing tools, sand and/or glass ball used in the shot blasting process etc.)
Follows the Continuous Improvement Plan
4. Optimization of the production processes in the mass production stage to improve PCA targets (costs reduction)
Conducts analysis of production processes indicators (Yield, OEE) and costs of production to determine the areas to improve the PCA target
Studies existing machinery and facilities and recommends or selects efficient combinations (lean machining).
