* Responsible for outbound freight cost as a percent of sales for business group.
* Responsible for inbound freight cost as a percent of material buy for business group.
* Responsible for U. S. Customs compliance for business group.
* Responsible for implementing, training and management of US Customs compliance processes.
* Responsible for carrier, forwarder, and import brokerage implementation and compliance.
* Responsible for implementation of ISO/QS procedures relative to carriage.
* Responsible for carrier quality for business group.
* Responsible for customer satisfaction for carriage for business group.
* Responsible for cost analysis for sales quotes for business group.
* Responsible for plant/distribution center audits to company policies relative to carriage.
* Responsible for scheduling and conducting worst carrier meetings.
* 5 years experience
* Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics
* International trade training in Export and Import Documentation and US Customs Compliance
* 2 years Corporate Office Experience
* 2 years Field/Plant Experience
* International Assignment Exposure
* Experience in implementing ISO and QS systems
* Profit and Loss Responsibility
* Solid understanding of U.S Customs Law
* Experience with International Trade INCO terms and Import/Export Documentation and Processes
* Cross-functional experience in Purchasing
