Participate in development and implement of Hardware and Packaging Commodity strategies support New Bids requirements;
Support the Bidding Solutions Hardware and Packaging Commodity in identifying and leveraging the preferred supplier list relationships;
Provides competitive costing solutions for new bidding;
Identify, develop and lead commodity strategy to gain supply chain leverage;
Mitigate supply chain challenges and provide resolutions to gain competitive cost;
Lead RFI/RFQ and cost negotiation activities to win new business opportunities; Understand Hardware and Packaging Commodity industry/cost trends;
Develop long term relationships with strategic and key suppliers.
Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience in Hardware and Packaging Commodity, experience in manufacturing environment, planning/purchasing/procurement function;
Engineering/Mechanical Degree preferred, Diploma with relevant experience will be considered;
Experience in managing machining or other mechanical commodities;
Fluent in written and speaking English, German, French will be a plus;
Able to work independently managing cross-cultural working relationships;
Strong systems skills, including common office platforms such as MS Office and Access;
Strong interpersonal relationship skills with good communication and presentations skills.
