Responsible for the provision of Contracting and Sourcing services for the Contract.
Responsible for the quality, auditability and governance of the Contracting and Sourcing processes.
Lead the team of Sourcing and Inventory Analysts professionals.
Well versed in material planning, sourcing & Inventory management.
Shall report directly to the Technical Service & Supply Chain Manager.
Implementation relevant governance model, Sourcing and Logistics models, relevant policies/procedures within the Contractor’s organisation.
Ensure effective compliance monitoring for the overall Contracting and Sourcing processes.
Process owner Contracting and Sourcing processes.
Ensure fairness and transparency is maintained when dealing with Vendors and sub-Contractors in accordance with business principles.
Ensure fair and equitable dealings especially with Omani Local Community Contractors.
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, or Operations Management or Business Administration.
Membership of internationally accepted applicable professional institute will be a plus.
Minimum of 15 years experience in Contracting and Sourcing with at least 5 years in a senior position preferably in an oil and gas company in and around the Middle East region.
High level proficiency in the use of data management and computer software programmes, ERP Systems for sourcing activities.
Extensive knowledge of supply chain management processes and systems including logistics and inventory management, Material control, Vendor Management.
Excellent communication and man-management skills.
Excellent inter-personal and commercial skills.
English is a must.
