This position is for a Utilities Plant Engineer for the New Mini Mill project located in Oltenita.
He/she has to coordinate all activites in regard of utility engineering, technical purchasing and executiion on site
The Utility Plant Engineer is directly reporting to the Project director
RESPONSIBILITIES:
¿¿¿ To establish and maintain the consumer list
¿¿¿ To establish and/or coordinate the required flow sheets and process - indication diagrams
¿¿¿ To establish and/or coordinate the required pipe engineering and routing
¿¿¿ To prepare the required technical inquiry specifications for all equipment and goods required for the plant utility system, participation and guidence of the respective technical/commercial negotiation meetings, be part of the purchasing decision team.
¿¿¿ Execute the respective purchase orders from the kick off meeting till performance tests
¿¿¿ Coordination within the project team the requirements in regard of utility requirements.
¿¿¿ Establish the required technical project standards for the utility systems
¿¿¿ Supervision and coordination of the project execution on site
¿¿¿ Reporting to the Project director of all deviations in regard of technic, time schedule and cost
¿¿¿ BS degree plus 10 years experience or MS plus 4-8 years experience in mechanical (preferred) or other engineering discipline in a design/operating/maintenance function with utility generation and distribution systems.
¿¿¿ Must have design/operational experience with utility systems and distribution.
¿¿¿ Related engineering experience in the Metallurgical field is required.
¿¿¿ Established, technically competent professional who can independently develop and implement solutions to fulfill objectives and goals
¿¿¿ Experience on capital projects in engineering/operations/maintenance or other applicable technical role.
¿¿¿ Demonstrated ability to work within a cross-functional project team.
¿¿¿ Knowledge of safety, and environmental requirements applicable to areas of responsibility.
¿¿¿ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Very good English knowledge
Very good computer skills MS ¿¿¿ office, MS ¿¿¿ project,
Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
