On behalf of our client, an on-line application development company, we are searching for experienced PHP Developers to join their team in Amsterdam.
There you will:
Develop optimized PHP code using the CakePHP MVC framework;
Work with the development team according Agile/Scrum principles;
Partner with peers in application engineering to ensure that interactive techniques and technologies translate through to world class products and services;
Maintain clear documentation of processes and communicate task progress;
Work with Quality Assurance to test functional product features;
Mentor other members of the Development Team;
Follow industry trends with regard to web-application technologies and techniques.
The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
More than 5 years experience with MVC frameworks such as CakePHP and Zend;
Basic understanding of AJAX frameworks, XML, JSON;
Experience with MySQL, LAMP, Ruby on Rails, Pyhton or Perl is required;
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, and cross-browser compatibility;
Proficiency in source code management practices;
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-effort, dynamic work environment;
Ability to think out of the box and with minimal structure.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
