On behalf of our client, an online application development company, we are searching for experienced
LINUX ENGINEERS

to join their team in Amsterdam.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Designing, developing and maintaining complex virtualized hosting environments;
Understanding the concepts and requirements of the hosted applications;
Development of new technologies;
Following industry trends with regard to web-applications and the group and meeting industry;
Supporting the users of the current hosting platform.


CERINTE

The successful candidate should have the following attributes:

Bachelor's degree or higher;
Excellent knowledge of Linux servers (Debian based, KVM);
Good programming and scripting skills (Bash, PHP, Python);
Experience with Ruby on Rails, Python or Perl is required;
Good knowledge of high available clustering (HAProxy, Nginx, Varnish);
Good knowledge of using Linux on a desktop;
Excellent knowledge of securing and maintaining complex server environments;
Good knowledge of distributed storage systems;
Availability to relocate to Amsterdam or surroundings.
