Location: North Sea
Our client is one of the global offshore drilling contractors
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of all subsea BOP and riser systems, Multiplex electro-hydraulic control systems, and all associated surface equipment and systems
- Maintain the Blow Out Preventer (BOP), Diverter, and associated subsea equipment in accordance with the Rig Maintenance System (RMS) guidelines
- Operate and pressure test the BOP on the surface and on the seabed as required
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Work experience and demonstrated ability of oral and written communication may be substituted in lieu of formal education
- Minimum of one year experience working with a Multiplex system
- Valid medical examination and vaccination certificates
- Knowledge of all technical calculations required for the subsea operation of the drilling unit and basic computer skills

Level of English: must be good/v.good. Please note, that driller is an independenent position.
Details about rotation period, number of hours/week - rotation depends on the sector of North Sea, where the rig is located. They may vary from 2/2 weeks to 4/4 weeks. Shifts are 12 hours day/night. No day off while on the rig.

As to benefits, there are bonus schemes, insurance and medical care schemes. Additionally, due to the fact, that our clients are one of the biggest drilling contractors, employees have many trainings and courses provided in support of their professional development.
details about accommodation, transportation - usual accommodation on the rig, candidates know the conditions as they are standard for the industry. Transport is the same. Tickets are booked for flights from nearest airport to location where employees are transferred onto helicopter or ship that moves them to the rig.
Please note: you must have previous offshore drilling experience.
