Our Norwegian partner is seeking Senior Structural Engineer
Tasks:
Discipline lead for design of Outfitting Steel in projects. Ensuring that design work is carried out in accordance with current procedures, requirements and specifications in projects. Responsible for coordination and management of internal as well as external discipline interfaces such as with sub-contractors, other contractors and client. Perform Structural work in Layout-, Design- and Detail Engineering phase. Ensuring that constructability and special requirements from site are attended in the design work. Contribute in the continuous process in developing and optimizing design procedures and – guidelines within the structural discipline. Contribute in the continuous process in developing and optimizing workflow procedures within the structural discipline and within design engineering in general.
Requirements – Qualifications/Experience:
• BSc or MSc
• Efficient with 3D CAD Microstation
• Experience with similar responsibilities
• Knowledge to Norsok standards
• Knowledge to regulations relating to design and outfitting of facilities, etc. in the petroleum activities.
• Very good knowledge of English language
Software:
• 3D CAD Microstation.
