The position holder will become a vital part of our project execution process, and typically take the role as senior planning engineer in our oil and gas related project deliveries as well as further develop Planning as a professional discipline in the company. The senior planning engineer will become a part of a challenging professional environment with opportunities for personal development, report to project manager, and will possess the following duties and responsibilities
• Discipline owner, for planning as a profession in Aker Kværner Process Systems.
• Develop our projects in topics related to performance of planning, progress control and corrective actions.
• Ensure performance of, and provide assistance to, required planning activities within execution of our studies, tenders and projects.
• Develop and implement methods, procedures and tools for planning, progress control and status reporting within the company
• Comply to the company’s quality system, which includes Aker Kværners Project Execution Model
• Interact with other project disciplines
• Continuous improvement of relevant work processes.
We are looking for a professional with the following qualifications
• Graduate engineer
• Good IT skills
• English fluency.
The successful candidate has the following experience
• 5 – 10 years relevant planning experience from a project organisation
• Ability, experience and excellent results implementing relevant planning tools and methods in a project organisation.
• Demonstrated excellent results from project planning in the oil and gas- or industry sector.
• Successful in coaching other team members within the planning area
