PRIMAVERPROJECT PLANNER
Our client is seeking a planning engineer to liaise with internal engineering, procurement, and sales departments to report against agreed project plans. Working within the oil &gas/ heavy engineering industry experience in Primavera or Microsoft Project/ SOFRAN is essential.
Duties in the role include:
- Liaising with Engineering, Procurement and Sales to produce agreed programmes for submission with proposal documentation.
- Develop detailed project execution programmes from proposal programs to meet the requirements of project managers and clients.
- To produce from the programme reporting tools and schedules to satisfy the needs of projects.
These include 'S' Curves, histograms, bar chart and tabular reports.
- To produce regular and accurate progress reports and identify as early as possible any variance to programme.
- To attend project review and progress meetings and report on these meetings.
The applicant must be able to: -
- Work without supervision on a day-to-day basis.
- have meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent organisational abilities.
- Ability to forward plan in order to meet deadlines.
Experience / qualifications:-
- Degree in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or equivalent.
- Must have good experience with all Microsoft packages.
Job requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of relevant working experience in the equivalent position
- Excellent English language skills
