The successful candidate will be responsible for issues such:
- Planning and execution
- Develop conceptual solutions
- Technically advisor to our bid team;
- The management and the control of the mechanical team of the drilling platform assuring technical assistance for the works produced by them;
- Execution of operating repairs for the drilling platform's equipments, setting up the operations which must be carry out dependent on kinds of repairs (technical revision; current revision;heavy repair);
- The carefully assure with tools, fixtures, service parts and necessary materials;
- The elaboration of the bill of materials and parts catalogue list;
- The elaboration of the necessary repairs;
- The accounting of the spent materials and replacements;
- The preparation and shipment of the falling equipments and units; etc.
Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in engineering (offshore / onshore drilling / mechanical maintenance / repairs experience)
- Wide mechanical background or related
- Multidiscipline “hands on” participation in projects
- Knowledge of 2D, 3D CAD tools, area-engineering and design
- Structured and method oriented
- Professional execution capability
- Positive, focused on solutions.
- Must be a good team worker
- Very good command of English (technical and conversational)
- A reasonable professional network within the oil and gas sector
