On behalf of our clients within the wind power industry we are continuously looking for highly skilled consultants with experience from the wind power industry.
Control Engineer with experience from the wind power industry
Key responsibilities:
• Developing state of the art control systems that fulfil the given requirements.
• Driving the control innovation based on experience from the wind power industry in order to give our client a competitive edge
Interactions & responsibilities:
• Development of controllers will include modelling for control purpose, advanced controller design, stability analysis, implementation and simulation in e.g. Matlab/Simulink and in the turbine simulator. The design must also be verified and documented in a professional way
Deliverables:
Within the area of tuning the controller the following should be delivered for each control feature:
• Requirement specifications
• DFMEA
• Implementation
• Test specification
• Verification plans and reports
Competences:
• Masters or Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent working experience
• 5+ years of experience from a similar position within the wind power industry
• Experience in working with Matlab/Simulink or similar system
• Experience in working with dynamical systems and flexible structures
• Wind turbine experience or similar is preferred
• Knowledge of one or more of the fields; Six Sigma, self learning controllers, supervisory control, robust control – hybrid systems is an advantage
• Interested in and keen on working in interdisciplinary teams in a project-oriented organisation
• Initiative and openness are of great importance together with the right balance between creativity and quality in the developed solutions
• Fluent in English – verbally and written
