Participate to the Call for Tender process relative to Usan flow-lines, umbilicals, Risers, gas export line and offshore loading terminal along with all offshore installation works.
Manage the execution of the detailed engineering, fabrication, installation engineering of Usan flow-lines and the gas export line.
ACTIVITIES
1. To assist in the definition, establishment and organization of the Project.
2. Manage the Call for Tender dossier
3. Implement Company¿s referential
4. Manage bid analysis and issue recommendation to award
5. Manage execution of detailed engineering
6. Manage execution of fabrication
7. Manage execution of offshore installation works
8. Manage reporting during all phases and more particularly the close-out report
9. Assess performance of dedicated personnel
OBSERVATIONS ON ACTIVITIES AND MISSIONS
Within the general objectives of the UFR package and USAN project, to manage the Flowline and Riser design of the installation taking account of all safety/environmental and reliability considerations.
To encourage the Contractors to propose reliable and competitive technical solutions with respect to Flowlines and Risers.
There will be focus on delivering top HSE performance from design through the offshore phase of the work while managing the contractor performance.
To assist in the control of the technical risks associated with the Risers and Flowlines and Gas Export.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND
Qualification: Pipeline engineering background along with at least ten years of involvement in offshore and/or underwater works on behalf of an oil and gas company in at least a leader position.
Professional Experience (number of years) : 15
Team oriented.
Good communication and Co-ordination skills.
OTHER OBSERVATIONS ON THE SPECIFICITIES OF THE JOB AND ITS ENVIRONMENT
In addition to a difficult local environment in a Nigerian context the UFR scope involves a wide range of offshore technologies. Consequently, the UFR Lead Engineers have to operate as an integrated team as well as act as leaders on the detailed engineering work scope of each system, all these factors will be key to the success of the project.
The working environment is international and multicultural and demands considerable skill in the process of working with International Contractors.
