Technical & Integrity Verification Engineer

This job profile entails the provision of a complete system of verification of the Bonga North west design packages, ie. Topsides, Subsea systems, Umbilicals and Pipelines. He will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the database required to track design changes, through the MoC process, various revision levels of design drawings and datasheets (from Issued for Review all the way through to As ¿ built status). He will act as the project¿s conscience in matters of technical integrity and coordinate remediation of technical non- conformances, participate in design reviews and specific HSE studies and drive efforts required to close out actions associated with such studies and reviews.

¿ A degree in mechanical or chemical engineering is required for this position, with at least 10 years experience is required, preferably in oil and gas project engineering, process engineering or facilities engineering.
¿ Must have knowledge of design verification processes, a working knowledge of the interpretation of functional specifications, performance criteria in actual design and assurance of equipment to meet performance requirements¿
¿ Must have a clear understanding of oil and gas design to commissioning.
¿ Must have demonstrable ability to work in teams and be a self-starter in managing his piece of the business.
