To manage under the responsibility of the SPS Manager the engineering, procurement and construction of the manifolds and connectors of the SPS package.

- Clarification of the bidders offers
After contract award:
- Organisation and management of the team in Nigeria
- Supervision of SPS project activity in Nigeria
Managing the day to day progress of manifold fabrication ensuring that the project budget and allocated resources are utilised in the most efficient and effective way to meet the project and Company¿s objectives.
The manifold package is a critical activity of the SPS package as it will represent the most important contribution to the Nigeria local content.
The challenge is to keep this part of the project in line with the overall schedule and to provide equipment at the required standard.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND
Qualification : Degree in an Engineering discipline relevant to the oil and gas field development business, with additional qualifications in Subsea Engineering and membership of the Society of Underwater Technology being well regarded. Should have strong construction background.
Professional Experience (number of years) : 15 years experience in subsea projects
OTHER OBSERVATIONS ON THE SPECIFICITIES OF THE JOB AND ITS ENVIRONMENT
The working environment is international and multicultural and demands considerable skill in the process of working with International Contractors.
Location
¿ Before contract award, position located with project team in Paris
¿ After contract award, few months are spent in Contractor main office where detail engineering and project is located
¿ As soon as activity is started, position is located in Nigeria at contractor office.
