Your Mission on the position:
* After an introduction and training period you will be responsible for managing the transportation fleet and workforce (drivers, labourers etc).
* You will be monitoring the fleet ensuring high stan-dards of quality while controlling budgets and operational costs.
* You will also be responsible for dispatching and route planning on a daily basis including document control etc.
* You will be planning, directing and controlling staff on their daily tasks.
* You will act as the company's representative in dealing with licensing authorities and clients.
* You will advise management on improving efficiency of all logistical operations.
Your Profile :
* For this challenging expat-position we are looking for a an experienced Road Transport Manager or Transport Co-ordinator with at least 5 years experience
* You have a good logistic, operational and technical background with excellent skills in planning and dispatching.
* You are experienced in working with a fleet of about 300 trucks, trailers, GPS etc.
* You are well-organized, focused, disciplined and autonomous.
* You are a good and reliable hands-on peoplemanager with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* You have a good PC work-experience and you are fluent in English.
