Our client, international logistical supplier operating 300 Bitumen and Gasoil road tankers in Nigeria is looking for GPS tracking manager.
Your Mission :
* After an introduction and training period you will be responsible for managing the transportation fleet and drivers.
* You will be monitoring the fleet via GPS
* You will check on daily basis the arrival of the trucks at final destination and report any interruptions of the planned journey
* You will also be responsible for dispatching and route planning
* You will be responsible for maintenance of the satellite system
* You will advise management on improving efficiency of all logistical operations and GPS
Your Profile :
* For this challenging expat-position we are looking for a an experienced Electronic Engineer with trucking background
* You are experienced in working with a fleet of about 300 trucks, trailers, GPS.
* You are well-organized, focused, disciplined, strong admin. know-how, accurate and experienced with tracking system (like money transport)
* You are a good and reliable hands-on peoplemanager with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* You have a good PC work-experience, satellite based tracking system experience of maintenance and repair of these systems and you are fluent in English.
