Construction Manager

RESPONSABILITATI

The CM manages the construction and erection work carried out by the Contractors, ensuring the compliance with the time, cost and quality requirements in relation to the construction activities; his functions include:
- defining and, when necessary, updating the construction schedules consistently with the other plans and project schedules;
- checking that the procedures for the site activities have been applied;
- co-ordinating and supervising the contractors¿ work with the support of the DS;
- checking weekly the progress of construction, underlining any criticalities and asking the concerned Contractor to take the necessary action;
- assisting the RM in verifying and updating the work feasibility;
- ensuring the preparation of the work progress reports;
- ensuring the issue of the mechanical completion certificate;
- assisting the COM during the commissioning and start-up phases.
