RESPONSABILITATI

Be responsible for day-to-day site supervision of an individual Works Contract;
Supervise execution of Works and check the finished Works before taking-over;
Promptly inform PM/RE and Quantity Surveyor of potential Variation Orders and unexpected increases in costs or any risks for delays;
Provide daily co-ordination of supporting staff assigned under his direct control, ensuring constant supervision and quality control of the Works in progress;
Be responsible for timely and accurate filling of the daily logbook;
Check, approve and be responsible for the works and quantities presented in the measurement book by the Contractor;
Follow-up the Works in order to advise the PM/RE about any event which might create disturbance or disorders.
Ensure good quality of work and compliance with safety and health regulations;
Day-to-day management of the Site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors;
Support the PM/RE, Materials Engineer and Quantity Surveyor in the volume business through coordination, follow-up and reporting the progress and quality of the overall project;
Liaise with MCA-Moldova and their representatives (consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, etc) and the general workforce involved in the project;
Check correctness of the area of impact for compensations payment to be provided by the Contractor in coordination with RAP Implementation Consultant;
Liaise with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws;
Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
Ensure that all materials used and work performed is as per specifications;
prepare reports as required:


CERINTE

University degree in water supply/irrigation and/or civil engineering, or other related fields;
Approximately seven (7) years experience in construction supervision of water supply/irrigation projects; experience in reconstruction of pumping stations and installation of pumps of high capacity would be an advantage;
Relevant contract experience in supervising Works Contracts is necessary and shall be demonstrated;
Successful experience in similar position in water supply/irrigation and/or civil engineering projects of similar size and complexity during last three (3) years shall be demonstrate;
Special skills – construction project management, management of construction supervision;
A good working knowledge of Romanian/Russian and English language is required;
