Manages the Finance department (including management accounts and payroll) ensuring up-to-date and compliant accounting records.
Responsible for budgeting and forecasting activities, financial planning and analysis.
Responsible for overseeing all tax affairs, statutory accounting and fiscal issues and ensuring adherence to all local fiscal and corporate regulations.
Responsible for company compliance to corporate policies and standard reports (including SOX).
Responsible for actively supporting commercial and operational departments in their business development, cost reduction and any other business support and projects.
Supervises and coordinates local operations (including IT/HR/Facility maintenance services).
• Proven track record in Finance/Accounting and at least 3 years of experience at supervisory/managerial level within Finance/Accounting in an international/multi-national company,
Good all round knowledge of local corporate and income taxes, local GAAP and US GAAP
• Professional qualification (Certified Accountant, University degree or equivalent)
• English fluent
• Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
• Multiple task management
• Strong supervisory and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated leadership skills (or potential)
• Strong team player
• Experienced in PC-based accounting systems, both use and implementation, knowledge of Oracle advantageous
• Proficient with Excel
