- Planning, coordination, supervision, execution, and evaluation of a wider scope of rig and rigless well intervention programs (re-completion, abandon, squeeze jobs, stimulation, fracturing, coiled tubing, slick line, case hole perforating, cased hole logging, running and pulling out completions) for development and exploration wells
- Coordinates well program operations with workover and well intervention Contractors and Service companies.
- Issues Standing Instructions to Workover and well intervention operators for each tour.
- Ensures Material Requests are issued in a timely manner to avoid disruption of operation.
- Updates forecast and plans activity (7 day planner) to anticipate resource requirements to meet well demands and provide optimum efficiency of services.
- Prepares Standard Equipment Lists in a timely manner for each phase of the well.
- Acts as Team leader of project participants on site and responsible for coordinating drilling operations and services (with Company Supervisors endorsement) to ensure compliance with well intervention programs in safe and efficient manners.
- Verifies adherence to procedures for all participants under the contract
- Responsible for compliance with applicable company policies, standards and procedures.
- Prepares daily cost estimate.
- Responsible for seven day planner, personnel on site and equipment on site lists. Responsible for analyzing drilling performance and making recommendations to improve the program and operation.
- Prepares detailed procedures for specific operation (running completion, squeeze jobs).
- Holds service company pre-job safety meetings to ensure good communication.
- Identifies high risk situations, document them, and adopt preventive measures
- University degree in petroleum engineering or proven experience as a Well Site Supervisor for rig and rigless well interventions
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Workover and Well Intervention
