DESCRIPTION
Our client, a 3 stars hotel from UK, currently has an opportunity for a Duty Manager to join our Management Team. As a Duty Manager, you will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel and will be responsible for the satisfaction of all guests needs. This diverse, challenging role will be based in all areas of the hotel (Food and Beverage & Front of House) and offers great variety with regular Duty Management shifts. A genuine commitment to providing first class customer service is critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintaining consistent standards of service and ensuring guest satisfaction while creating a work environment that supports organisational values. Contribute to the profitability of the Hotel through the operation of effective cost controls and stock monitoring.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with the management of the hotel operation, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department. To manage day to day running of the hotel in the Managers absence.Proactively plan to ensure each departments preparedness based on an awareness of business in the Hotel. Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints. Ensure all costs are controlled without compromising standards and service delivery. Ensure awareness and compliance with all Health & Safety work practices. Ensure support of the hotels core values Patrons, People, Product and Profit at all times.

JOB SPECIFICATION
To apply you should have: previous experience within a similar role within a 4 or 5* hotel and demonstrated business / industry awareness; previous operational experience is essential ; exceptional customer service skills ; be standards driven and detail-orientated with the ability to organise and plan ahead ; Good organizational and administration skills; smart appearance, friendly outgoing personality financially aware with the ability to lead teams when necessary ;
You will need to be technically strong in food and beverage service and front office with the ability to deputize for the F&B Manager and Front office Manager however of equal importance is an energetic, friendly and positive approach together with a ability to think/act effectively under pressure.

CONTRACT DETAILS

1-2 years contract (there is possible to be extended according with your working performances and achievements) ; Accommodation provided; Salary: starts from £15. 000 gross per annum up to £20. 000 gross per annum ; 20 paid holiday days; starting date: asp – preferable beginning of end of Oct..2007
