GSS Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Principal Commissioning Engineer to be based initially in the London area. Client would prefer candidates who are based in London / within travelling distance. Must be willing to travel as and when required by client. Permanent staff position.
Ideal candidate makes decisions independently on commissioning and operating problems and methods. Leads execution and development activities in assigned areas to resolve important technical issues and to coordinate work. May work on multiple projects at one time.
Responsible for the safe execution of all work under his / her control.
Ideal candidate will have:
- a BSc Degree in Engineering or HNC in relevant subjects.
- formal training in HSE (NEBOSH National Certificate or similar).
- a minimum of 10 years’ of progressive applicable experience. Three or more years as a Senior Commissioning Engineer or similar role.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
