Synchronised Solution is currently recruiting male and female home carers to work in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our client has been providing domiciliary care services for over 20 years. The company has recently been awarded new contracts and for that reason they need to recruit caring and compassionate home carers. We are looking to recruit 20 domiciliary carers.
Domiciliary care also known as home care is provided to people who still live in their own homes but who require additional support with day to day household tasks, personal care or any other activity that allows them to maintain their independence and quality of life.
Location details: These vacancies are located in Bedfordshire. Bedfordshire is a small county with lots to offer. There are excellent outdoors to explore with several miles of green areas. Several museums, galleries and theatres as well as great variety of high street and independent shopping. From Bedfordshire you can get to central London in less than 40 minutes. Also Luton international airport is located in Bedfordshire. Luton is the main city and Bedford is a smaller but also relatively big town with over 80000 residents.
Start date: We are looking for candidates who can potentially start working within the next month. If however this is not possible, we will be able to postpone your arrival. Arrival dates are planned to match the induction training days. Induction training happens once or twice a month.
You don’t need previous domiciliary care experience as the client provides a fully paid induction as well as constant career development. Due to the nature of the role candidates must have a driving license.
Salary and benefits: The company offers:
-Up to 14 weeks accommodation at a cost of £75 per week. The first week is free of charge. Company can also provide assistance with a loan for finding permanent accommodation
-Car for the first 14 weeks at a subsidised cost of £5 per day. It includes all costs. Company provides fuel card and gives a millage contribution of 20p per mile
-Fully paid induction training at a rate of £7.20 per hour. The initial induction consists of a period of classroom based education together with community based training with an experienced colleague. There is also ongoing training provided including enrolment into QCR Level 2 in Health and Social Care
-Hourly salary of £7.25 per hour during the weekdays and £8.00 per hour at Weekends
-Paid travel time
-Gross monthly salary after induction should be in the region of £1600 – £2000 before deductions. Tax depends on the individual but is typically around 11% of gross pay. National Insurance is around 5%.
-Possibility of doing extra hours -Shifts usually from 7-2pm 3-6pm 6-10pm.
-Airport meet and greet on arrival

-Good level of English
-Vocation to work as a domiciliary carer
-Commit to 48 hours working per week.
The average cost of a room in the Bedfordshire area is currently between £300 and £500 per month inclusive of bills. You will be able to use the company´s office to search for permanent accommodation and to acquire a second hand car.
