Audit of financial records at different operations (subsidiaries) across Africa;
Monitoring and supervision of financial reports;
Optimisation of finance management principles (procedures, reporting concepts / formats);
Development and execution of training programs for regional finance managers;
Collaboration / project management with analysis and technical teams;
Reporting to Head of Finance and CEO.
A talented, experienced and fully Certified Chartered Accountant (ideally IRCA – or CIIA, or ACCA, or CIMA);
At least three years experience in a similar International Finance Control / Audit role;
Extensive knowledge of both British and French accounting formats (ideally);
An excellent communicator – with the proven ability to communicate and argue at all levels, to formulate the essential questions and to explain business insight, observations and projections in concise words;
A rather mature personality, quick learner, independent thinker and hard-working team player – who can cleverly motivate and influence colleagues, keen to deliver positive contributions;
Willing to travel up to 50 % (two weeks per month) to various operations across Africa;
Bilingual - English / French;
Knowledge of large retail operations or off-line gaming industry (desirable)
