We are recruiting for a high standard hotel from Argyll, Scotland two girls (age 20 - 30 years old) in our housekeeping and kitchen departments. The start date will be for the KITCHEN PORTER early September and for the HOUSEMAID end of September. The contract is for 12 months and could be extended. The hotel is closed starting 4/5 January and re-open at the beginning of February. During this period all the staff will be in holiday.
The duties of the Housemaid:
Mainly housekeeping duties including cleaning guest bedrooms and bathrooms, making beds, doing laundry, cleaning public areas, but also it may be necessary to assist with food service and tasks related to that.
The duties of the KITCHEN PORTER:
Wash pots, pans and traps; maintain neat appearance of working areas and cleaning equipment storage areas.
Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
Clean garbage cans and waste barrels.
Wash worktables, walls and refrigerators.
Assist in dish room, operating dish machine.
Helping with basic food preparation.
Assisting the chef's in the kitchen.
Working 5 days a week approximately 50 hrs – it may be necessary to work 6 days a week during busy periods but you will be paid for all hours worked. Good level of English language.
Salary: £5.35 per hour. Tips. Meals provided on duty. Accomodation.
