CSPSD currently handles projects ranging from entire park development that includes residential and industrial communities, infrastructure development related to relocation of villages, housing and eco park projects.
Candidate must be able to act as technical adviser on a construction site.
Must have knowledge in setting out, leveling and surveying the site.
Able to check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
Ensure that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications.
Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials. Must have knowledge in cost of materials, and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
Manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the project management. Interface with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
Able to liaisine with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
Able to liaisine with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress. Implement Day-to-day monitoring of the site, including work activities, permits, licensed workers and equipment
Monitor agreed deadlines.
Implement quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Prepare reports as required.
Able to resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
