We recruit staff for an UK company interested to hire 10 Assemblers/Platers.
The platers we require, will prepare and assemble steel plates and sections for the manufacture of cranes. The work they will be doing is very large and candidates should be used to working with 20mm - 30mm high tensile steel. Some sections they will be required to manufacture can weigh up to 50 tons, and the best Candidates are people with Ship Yard experience.

The work of a plater/fabricator may involve:
* reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* measuring and marking out plates and sections for cutting, shaping, drilling
* assembling metal plates based on the engineering drawing
* operating edge preparation machines
* use of MIG welding equipment
* use of flame straightening equipment.
The pay for this job will be £9.52 for the first 40 hours and £13.75 after that, with £18.04 per hour paid on Sundays and Bank Holidays. Based on a 60 hour week Monday to Saturday the salary would be £575 per week, gross, £485 per week net. The basic wage can rise to £10.85 depending on the skill and speed of the candidates.
