Job objective:
• Coordinates the external logistics activity to ensure timely delivery of products to the customer.
Tasks:
• Supervises the Sales Planning and the Material Planning activities
• Primarily responsible for materials availability in production timely dispatch of customers orders
• Responsible for the supply chain optimization and for controlling the costs related to the supply chain
• Takes necessary action for reaching the inventory targets
• Coordinates inventory transfers during business transfers in or out of the site
• Leads a growing team of seven Materials and Sales Planners
• Ensures all team members have clearly defined objectives and exchange feedback with employees on motivational level.
• Take proper action to reduce the turnover of the team.
Experience required:
• Five years total experience in a Logistics department
• Two years experience in a coordinating role
Knowledge required:
• Advanced English language, both spoken and written
• German is a significant advantage although not mandatory
• ERP knowledge is essential, SAP will be highly appreciated
